    Empathy Map & User Persona
Barry Peterson is our User Persona that is derived from our research. We will be using Barry as the standard for all our design decisions moving forward. From here we were able to create a UX Scenario and User Journey Map based on Barry and Better Balance.

    THE PROBLEM

We believe that people with sedentary jobs experience deleterious effects to their health from prolonged sitting and bad posture. This leads to chronic pain that interferes with daily work, which could have been avoided with preventative measures.

We may solve this problem by customizing and gammifying users’ experiences based on the data collected from a strong onboarding and activity feedback, providing targeted plans/routines, and customizable notifications and alarms.

We will know we have succeeded when we see an increase in new users and user retention, and when the application will receive positive reviews.

    THE SOLUTION

    Keep it simple
  • A wellness app that is easily customizable to fit your personal needs and goals
  • User Experience that is easy to navigate and gets you going with very little (additional) effort.
  • User Interface that is easy on the eyes with no distractions and keeps you on the right track, daily.
  • Better Balance - Style Guide
To be consistent with our design decision to be simple: we wanted to gamify the experience while keeping it simple we kept our user interface bright and minimalistic. Our display font "ASAP" has rounded edges which give a friendly and welcoming vibe. For body, we used "Open Sans" due to its readability.
    Smart Watch Compatibility
  • Helping our users stay on track, in the most convenient way.
  • Notifcations and reminders that are completely customizable; reflective of the user's routine.
